  1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions govern participation in all Gravel Travel journeys organised by crossroads Event und Kommunikation GmbH (“the Organiser”).

By booking a journey, Participants accept these terms as legally binding.

  1. Nature of the Journeys

  • official requirements
  • operational constraints

Guides may make binding decisions on site to ensure safety and overall journey quality.

  1. Group Conduct

Journeys are conducted as shared group experiences. Participants must behave respectfully and cooperatively.

The Organiser reserves the right to exclude Participants from programme elements if their behaviour endangers safety, disrupts the group or is otherwise inappropriate.

  1. Participant Responsibility and Liability

Participation in gravel cycling activities involves inherent risks.

Participation takes place entirely at the Participant’s own risk.

Participants are solely responsible for:

  • their riding behaviour

Instructions given by guides must be followed.

All medical, rescue, transport or related costs shall be borne by the Participant.

  1. Insurance

Participants are responsible for maintaining adequate health, accident and personal liability insurance.

Trip cancellation and interruption insurance is strongly recommended.

The Organiser assumes no liability for insufficient insurance coverage.
