Gravel is booming. This boom is also taking place among women. Nevertheless, we still have a very modest quota of women at the Gravel Ride & Race Bern. That’s why we launch a women’s campaign again: in cooperation with GravELLE Club, there are two starting places to be won and an exclusive group ride.
Last year we managed to increase the quota of women in the Race (50 km) from 9% to 15%. In the Ride (25 km) from 29% to a strong 40%. But unfortunately the current numbers for 2023 look more like two years ago.
Ladies, this has to change! That’s why we’re launching a competition together with Sara Bukies from GravELLE Club and offering a group ride over the 25 km distance.
The competition ended on Thursday, October 12. The winners were informed.
